§ 10-46. Composition and organization.

The Siler City Fire Department is a volunteer organization, operated as a department of the Town of Siler City. The fire department shall consist of such full time and volunteer members, and such quarters, vehicles, apparatus, equipment and other personal property as may from time to time be authorized by the board of commissioners. The daily management and operation of the fire department shall be as provided by guidelines and standard operating procedures promulgated pursuant to section 10-49.
