§ 2-6. Claims against town.

All persons having any claim against the town shall be required to present such claim, in writing, within six (6) months after the date such claim may arise, or as provided by state law, at a regular meeting of the board of commissioners; provided however, that the board may by unanimous consent, consider, pass upon and audit any such claim at any meeting, whether special or regular.
